All the offspring of Adam, were created in G-d’s image, but what does that mean? To me it is not only a physicality, but character also. If we emulate our creator, we can not help but to be people of integrity. I have had many people say that Islam worship’s the same G-d as Christians and Jews. He may be the same G-d, but the problem is when our belief’s are intermingled with our sinful nature and we interject our actions into His, we fall way short of His will. How can we interpret what G-d wants for us if we inject our human nature into it. Hatred of His children is not possible, He can only be disappointed in our actions and judge us accordingly. Yes, there is only one G-d, but he is a G-d of mercy and He loves all His children the same. We can not speak for G-d, we can only praise Him in all He has provided. It has to anger Him when we cause harm to His children no matter their race or creed. It is time that people stand up and speak out for truth and dispute the teachings of so called leaders that say they have been chosen by G-d to judge others. Quit being lead like lambs to slaughter and know G-d by building your relationship with Him. You can not depend on pastors, rabbis, imams, caliphs or places of worship to grant you eternal life. We have had enough self absorbed haters in this world, lets concentrate on love for a while, and true love is only achieved by a relationship of praise and worship to the Creator of all that is.
G-d’s name has been used in all religions to justify murder and mayhem throughout the ages, but now it is time for men and women of integrity to stand up and bear good fruit of love. Just remember who is really behind all this hate Theology, and who the real enemy is……………….Satan!
“Shovrim Shtika” / Breaking the Silence
No matter if you are Christian, Jewish or Muslim, we all know and believe that it is the last of the “Last Days” and the Messiah is about to break the eastern sky. We have only time for repentance (”tashuvah” in Hebrew, which means to turn an about face to G-d) and not hatred. In all of our relegious histories, no matter what faith, we are covered with the blood of war and hatred. We have used G-d’s name to justify murder and revenge. We that are supposed to be caretakers of the earth and to love our neighbors, need to stand up and be heard. G-d is the judge, and He will come sooner than we think. It is not for us to force our beliefs on others. G-d gives us free will to choose good or evil.

All of us are hit by the “fiery darts” of Satan, but like a bullet proof vest, or breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6) protects us. It seems as if we have been injured, but the blood soaked vest of righteousness kept us from a mortal wound. We feel the pain just as a police officer feels the impact of the bullet against his vest and suffers the bruises for some time. All of us, secular or believers, suffer trials and burdens in our lives. The difference is that Christians have a tool to give them hope. This tool is called “FAITH”, the first stone we learn of as we begin building on the foundation of the Messiah. It is also our shield to protect us from “fiery darts”, and some times we are not vigilant enough to have our shields up. God controles the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness, but we are in charge of using our shield and sward. We begin a walk of faith as soon as we have accepted the “Grace” given us by Yeshua, our Savior, and place our lives into His arms. He begins to teach us how to use the “armor of God”.
What can a non believer place his hope in, the government, a doctor or his own ability? I praise HaShem/God, that I have Him to turn to in my times of trouble and loss. I have hope I can see loved ones again in the Kingdom come. I have faith that whatever I am going through, God has His hand in it, and it is ordained for my growth. All I am asked to do in return for this benefit, is to love Him with all my heart, love my neighbor as myself and to seek His Kingdom first and foremost in my life. He said He would take care of the rest. This is hard to swallow, when we are bombarded with things that cause stress in our lives. Things are not going to get any better, in fact the Scriptures tell us things are going to worsen the closer we get to His return. Natural disasters, man made disasters, the economy, health problems, death and illnesses are a part of life, but they will become more frequent and intense as “THE DAY” approaches when our Lord returns. “As birth pains of a women in travail”, the scriptures tell us, and we know that birth pains become more frequent and intense the closer to the birth. All these things are signs of the time to warn us to prepare for His Kingdom.
As usual I have strayed off the path of my intended teaching about “FAITH” and got preachy……………Faith in Hebrew is “EMUNAH” and it is an action verb. It would be better to interpret it as “faithfulness”, suggesting action. Placing our faith in action brings us blessing. As we work towards His Kingdom, serving others as He showed us by His service, He blesses us. He reveals precepts and mysteries from His Holy Word to embellish our faith in Him. It is a continual circle of blessing. If we stray from the path, or not obedient to the precept, He must chastise us to get us back on the path. Each truth or precept we learn and are obedient to, He blesses us.
Faith can also be a rest or a Sabbath time. It is still a verb and in action, but we must make the effort to bring ourselves to rest in the arms of our Messiah so we can be replenished with the power of His “Ruach Ha Kadosh”/the Holy Spirit”, enabling us to continue our service. He does not want us to suffer more than we can take on, but suffering trials and tribulations can refine us to a higher service. Our experiences then can be shared with others going through the same thing. To put all this teaching in a “nut shell”, we as Christians are suffering all the “HELL” we will ever experience right here, right now, in this life on this world. If you happen not to believe in Messiah, I hope you change your mind, because you are experiencing all the “Heaven” you will ever experience right here, right now, on this planet! Seek eternal pleasure with the creator of all things, not temporary gratification of this world by asking Him into your heart right now! Test Him to see if He is real, you will be surprised!
If you have read this, please remember me in a prayer, I am under attack…………………..Shalom, Dan’el
Christianity or Islam
Thursday, May 5th, 2011Answers to a Brief Introduction to the
Muslim Faith
By; Dan’el Fraley
An inmate in the Alabama prison system, sent me information circulating around the prison. He has converted from Christianity to Islam and is doing his best to persuade me to do the same. Below is my answer;
I am going to do my best to express to you the reason you will never change my mind on whom I serve, and in who I place my faith. “I AM, the Way the Truth and the Light, and no one comes to the Father but through Me!”
These words were spoken by HaShem/El’Elion/El’Shadi/Adoni/God, in His fleshly (born of water and of woman, the only begotten from the Will of God.), body, becoming our “kinsman Redeemer” (read the book of Ruth) so He could redeem mankind from the curse placed on him after the fall in the “Garden of Eden”. The cures being, that God would grant them the wish to see what Good and Evil are all about and cast them out into a world influenced by both.
I pray. as I begin to respond to the article mentioned above, may the Holy Spirit of God give me the words to save my beloved brother the imprisonment of a false teaching so he may inter into the “Sabbath Rest’ and not be eternally separated from Your Love as he has been separated from society here in this world. Thank you most high God and creator of all things, Father, you told us there is only one way to redemption and there is only one path to your fellowship and that is through the CROSS, Amen.

In Judaism, Christianity and Islam, there is only one God, (In Christianity, the term “trinity” is a pagan reference given through Catholicism and should be referred to as the “Tri-unity” of God) and yes, many prophets. God called Abram out of pagan idol worship (Chaldeans in the city of Ur) and made a covenant with him. God changed his name to Abraham (father of many) and promised him a son. Sarah, trying to help God out (because it had been 25 years sense the promise) sent Hagar into Abraham and Hagar, not Sarah (in whom the seed had to come, because she was the receptacle of the promise along with Abraham, not to mention the miracle of old age births as a sign through all the patriarchs) gave birth to Ishmael. As a sign of the covenant (after Ishmael’s birth), God ordered him, Ishmael and all his servants to be circumcised. The seed of promise had to come through the shed blood of the circumcision, and then came Isaac, born from Sarah, to be the line in witch the Messiah would come.
-
continued; Mu-hammed, was born and raised in paganism just as Abraham was, but the promised one/Yeshua/God the Redeemer had already come. Mu-hammed, received his vision in a dark place (a cave, which is also an unclean place, good only for burial), not born of light, under the influence of an opiate (common drug used in that day, read “Satanic Letters” by; Simon Roshti, who is in hiding for blaspheming Mu-hammed and has a death sentence place on his head. By the way, only God and His spirit are high enough to be blasphemed.) and gets advice from a woman who said he had been given this vision from God and he must be a prophet. He even doubted himself and thought he was being possessed by a demon (I think he was right about that, for God leaves no doubt of His revelations).Cookie, you have done drugs before and know they effect ones spiritual thinking. Also Muhammed, can not be the last prophet of God, for Joel 2:28 tells us that in the last days “I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy…………..”, read all of Joel 2.
Second paragraph Submitting; Love, brings me to the foot of the cross not forced submission. Messiah’s Grace does not force me into works so I can be loved “Lest I boast” . We desire to serve God and our fellow man, because we love Him, not because we fear His wrath.
Third paragraph called Muslims; Islam, in the middle east is where it all started, would not accept your interpretation, and say you were not true believers. They can not even agree with each other. If they did not collectively hate Israel and the greater Satan of the USA, they would kill each other. Now you are saying in your mind, “We are not a radical Islamist, we follow a different form of Islam”, but I say…..look a the fruit that is produced.
Going into #2
I admit I do not know about all these factions of followers of Muhammed, but he was not the final prophet of God (Joel 2:28). In fact he was never called by the God of Israel (Abraham, Isaac & Jacob), he was called by the “beast” spoken of in the book of Revelations that will come against regathered Israel in the time of Jacob’s trouble/Tribulation Period. What other religion uses swords to cut off heads of those who will not submit spoken of in the book of Revelations?
The promise/covenant, God, made with Abraham was to come from Sarah as well as Abraham. Ishmael came from only Abraham, and his seed was not planted through the circumcision covenant. Isaac, was.
Islam is like all other religions of the world that have a “Work Base Faith”, only God manifesting into flesh, to become our “Kinsman Redeemer”, can give us grace/unwarranted favor and open the LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE in the “Day of Judgment”. He took on the judgment we deserved if only we accept the gift of His Grace. All of the many hundreds of prophesies about the coming Messiah in the TaNaKh/Old Testament Christ fulfilled or will fulfill. There are no winged horses in the Scriptures that carry prophets around. The Seraphim (special angles designed to carry the throne) carry God’s throne around.
Yeshua taught in parables, so I will try and do the same;
On a very cold day, a farmer noticed sparrows at his back door trying to stay warm by the heat escaping from under the glass/screen door. He felt sorry for them, and went out through the front door, around the house and opened the barn door so that the birds could find shelter there. Going back into the house and into the kitchen, he watched to see if the sparrows would go into the barn, they did not. He went out and around the house again, this time with bread crumbs to entice the birds towards the barn. He got too close and scared them away. He came back into the house and thought in his mind “If only I could become one of them, I could make them understand I was only trying to save them.” He instantly had a revelation, that is what God did…He became one of us.
He had to be “Born of Water” from a woman’s womb to become one of us. All religions of the world are trying to reach what they conceive as God, but they are all feeble attempts based on customs of man. God got my attention when He got up on the cross willingly to suffer what I deserved.
-
second paragraph;
Transgression of Torah/first five books of Old Testament, is sin. Muslims, Follow the ancient Laws of Torah, but like Christians, they “cherry pick” what they think is viable to their beliefs and say that the words were changed by ancient Rabbis or the New Testament teachings have done away with the “Law”. Nether is right, the “Law” given on Mt. Sinai, was a wedding contract that was broken by the adulterous “chosen” and offered to the “Lost Tribes” gentiles in the form of grace through Messiah. All those who believe in El/God/etc. yes, must be a person of integrity not to offend the Creator. The problem is that tradition gets in the way of what is truly taught by the living God. All mankind/Ben Adom/sons of Adam, are His children and He loves them equally.
He did not appoint any particular people to slaughter others who do not believe the same, except those possessing His promised land of Israel who were idol worshipers. According to scriptures of old, the land the Israelites went into to posses, was God’s land and as long as the people dwelling there were righteous, and they remained loyal to Him, they could live there. But, if they went whoring with other gods, they would be cast out. They did whore around with false gods and were cast out into the gentile nations, but God did not forget them (Book of Hosea). The ancient prophets told of a day the Israelites would return to there land after being driven out and repossess it to the glory of HaShem/God. That day came in 1948, “a nation born in a day”, and Islam is going to have to accept this or deal with the consequences of God’s wrath. In 1948, Jews from all the surrounding Arab nations fled into the new homeland. They numbered over 600,000 people leaving all their land and homes to the Arabs. Did the surrounding Arab nations offer these places displaced by Jews to the so called Palestinians? No, Palestine was already given to the Jews by England, but the UN fought the decision. The land belonged to England because they drove out the Ottoman Turks in WWI. Palestinians are Saudi-Arabians or Edomites (decedents of Esau),who moved into Israel and Trans-Jordan for jobs offered them by the booming influx of Jewish emigrants fleeing persecution of Europa and Russia (Hitler and Stalin). Enough of History, let me get back to the point of answering Islam.
2.) Paragraph three;
Praying-Christ did not bind us to scheduled prayers, He said “Be in constant prayer” as if you were talking to a friend next to you. There is nothing wrong with praying five times a day, but God never told us to use 33 beads in our hands, or carry a prayer rug around. These are all man made rules. A pilgrimage to Mecca and circling a meteorite while in prayer is about as close to idol worship as you can get, not to mention that is the very place the 365 gods the Arabs worshiped were located until Muhammed chose only the “Moon God” Allahaiah of war to exalt.
3.) Paragraph one;
I agree with the first sentence, but does Islam? When a Christian pastor burns a Holy Qur’an, the media goes wild and Islam kills. When Muslims kill Christians and Jews, burn churches and synagogs and rape Christian children, the news organizations seem quiet about it. The African Muslims are the worst! Christ said the path to eternal life was narrow, who is right?
-
The second sentence “sex outside of marriage”, is laughable seeing how Muhammed broke this law many times over, he was caught molesting an eight year old child and was nearly put to death by his followers. He claimed God gave him this little girl to be his number one wife (God does not support molestation). “Stealing”, is also laughable when Muhammed made his living raiding camel trains between Mecca and Medina and molesting any females present no matter the age.
Paragraph 2 in section 3;
Yes cleanliness is close to Godliness, inside and out of the body. I do not know if Muhammed drank alcohol, because I have not found any historical references to it. I have seen historical evidence of his consistent drug use. When I visited with the Palestinians in Israel, hashish and opiates smoked in water pipes while drinking Turkish coffee is a morning ritual before they open their shops or start work. (A Muslim walked up to me, out of the blue on the street, drunk or high on drugs and pissed his pants while telling me in Arabic “Y’shua lo Masshiach”. He was clearly possessed by the demon hatred of his Islamic beliefs). I would drink the very strong coffee, but passed on the pipe. I have several Muslim friends in Israel, and when we discuss religion, all seems OK until Muhammed is brought up. I have to be very cautious when trying to witness to them about who they believe the coming Messiah will be. They are very hospitable people and I always felt at home around them except for the one incidence I just mentioned, and that was an isolated event. I even allowed Uthman, a barber friend, shave my neck with a straight razor. The younger teenage Palestinian boys were troublesome, they are by far the most aggressive in expressing hatred.
The prohibition of unclean food goes back further than Abraham. When you read the story of Noah in Genesis notice that there were 7 pairs of clean animals brought onto the ark, and only one pair of unclean.
“Scholarship”;
There was no “scholarship” in Muhammed’s life, he was illiterate, he could not even write his own name. Which brings up the validity of the Qur’an, who wrote it? It is written in a “Talmudic” stile, which leads me to believe Jewish slaves wrote it down. After Muhammed died (and where is the wisdom of not having appointed someone to succeed him after death?), family and generals fought over the right to carry on his teachings and lead his followers into the future. Muhammed was poisoned by his own followers. History tells us he was fed lamb tainted by hemlock poison, tried to spit it out, but was too late. His loyal followers concocted a story that he was carried to the furthermost mosque by a winged horse. Somehow they chose the Temple mount in Jerusalem to be the furthermost mosque (to fulfill the prophesy of Daniel about the “abomination of desolation Daniel 11:31”). Chaos broke out and the sacred writings of the Qur’an were burned. What Islam now has is a copy from remembrances of his teachings.
Historically, it seems that Muhammed’s only knowledge was how to rape, steal and pillage innocent people.
It is good that Muslims encourage their youth to study, but what are they taught? In the last thousand years nothing significant has been added to the knowledge of the world through Islam. Yes, before this time architecture and mathematics coming out of Islam was great and gave something to the collective knowledge of the world. Now they are “Hell Bent” on world domination and driving it back to the dark ages with “Sharia” law. We as tax payers, are funding a Muslim university in Gaza that has courses on how to be a martyr for Allah. Jewish and Christian scholars have offered much more by far than that Islam. Islamic schools now seem to be obsessed in teaching falsehood and antisemitism to their youth. They teach that there was never a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, the “Holocaust” never happened and Allah wishes to destroy unbelievers, which is a slap in the face to the “Redeeming Grace of the “Sacrificial Lamb of God”/Jesus/Yeshua/God in the flesh. “Not by works, lest any man boast”; You can not work, pray, become a martyr or kill your way into heaven. Only the belief that the infinite God became finite and shed His blood for YOU. Not Muhammed, a Khalif, a preacher, a religion or anything else, can get you into the Kingdom of God. Only a relationship with God through the shed blood of His lamb, Yeshua HaMachiach. You knew this once but rejected it. Those who have heard the “Gospel” of Christ and then rejected it, a special place is prepared for them in utter most darkness and separation from God.
3.) paragraph 4 through section 4;
No one is more worthy than others, “all are equal in the sight of God”. Only Grace/unwarranted favor gives us salvation, a gift that some refuse to open and use and therefore stay lost. Teachers are held to a higher accountability for influencing lives. If you teach “Lawlessness” (against the Word of God/Torah) you will stand before God in judgment.
If race and ethnic origin are not important to Islam, why do they call us the “Great Satan” and Israel the “Little Satan”? Why do they want to drive Israel into the sea? They have a history of killing each other more than their enemy.
The females genitalia are destroyed so after the men are finished with them, no other man will desire them. The clitoris is cut out of a girl so when she becomes of age, she will never experience pleasure, for pleasure is only for men. Do they think this pleases God!
No! Muslim women are not allowed to be scholars, professionals
-
or leaders in most Muslim nations. They are regarded as property not much higher that animals, completely submissive to man (no matter how crewel man treats them, sharia law backs the wishes of the man), in most extreme Muslim beliefs. Where is the freedom of life, liberty and happiness when a religion dictates your dress code? I agree that freedom has run a muck in this country and most of the free world. Iniquity, sloth, and filth has permeated us through the works of Satin, but we all have the right to choose whom to follow, and that is what we are here for. We can not force people to choose righteousness, it is their decision to accept or refuse God’s pleas for repentance.
I know Jesus, is considered a holy prophet of Islam, but boy, how they reject all He taught. If Muslims followed His teachings, would they not then be Christian Muslims? Muslims kill Christians and burn churches, kill anyone in their family who is caught being one. Hundreds of prophesies in the Old Testament speak of Him, in fact there is more about Him in Torah than in the New Testament. He was not only a prophet, He is a high priest and the King spoken of who will rule and reign in the “Millennial’ period. John 1:1 says, Jesus was Word “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Cookie, read the book of John, it is all about the deity of Christ. Islam can not choose only what fits their beliefs out of Jesus’ teachings and reject the rest. Most of all, they can not place anyone above Yeshua, for He is the manifesting presence of God. When He returns, He will NOT exalt Muhammed, He will judge him and his followers.

About Jesus or Of Jesus
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011Is the place you go to worship a congregation about Jesus, or of Jesus?
Many of the “Westernized” churches are so immersed into tradition, they would not recognise Christ if He walked into their congregation. They preach and teach about Jesus, but ignore the roots of their faith, or how to live as Christ did. The only “roots” they pay homage to is the foundation placed by the Romans in the second century. We need to quickly realise that it is the first century examples of the Apostles we should be emulating. Our own churches have become stumbling blocks in our path to the Kingdom.
Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is
inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man
through whom the stumbling block comes! (Matthew 18:7)
Woe to the churches that teach that the divine Laws of Adoni have been done away with. Woe to the teachers and preachers of “Lawlessness”! We should not take Jesus’ word lightly in Matthew 7:21-23.
Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven;
but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to Me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name,
and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?”
And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you;
depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.“
When the Scriptures use the phrase, “My people”, remember G-d is talking about those who live by the covenant given on Mount Sinai and those grafted into this covenant. Christians have not replaced “My people” with the church, they have been grafted into the covenant, read Romans 11.
If you are experiencing problems in trying to reform teachings in your church and you have been patient with them, that is good. But, if your influence is constantly being rejected, it is time to get out. The Scriptures specifically say “get out of Babylon before it is too late”. Do not try to reform the church any longer, bring others out with you and begin a new congregation in your home if need be. I thought for years, that the established church can reform and that it was my field of harvest to work in. I still do what I can to spread the REAL Gospel in churches where I speak, but the harvest is small (narrow path comes to mind) and few change. I have been accused of “Judaizing”, “Legalism” and false teachings, but nothing I teach is not in the Holy Scriptures. Two scriptures come to mind here; Revelation 12:17 and 14:12. I will place them here so you do not have to look them up unless you wish to. Before I do, I want to point out that these scriptures are to the believers in the tribulation years who will undoubtedly face some hard times. So you tell me; Are the Laws of the Holy One of Israel done away with and is there Torah-observant believers in the Tribulation years? Our congregations are doing the same thing the scribes and Pharisees were doing when Christ reprimanded them in Mark 7:6-8, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.
And the dragon was enraged with the woman (Israel), and went off to
make war with the rest of her offspring (lost sheep of Israel, us, Christians),
who keep the commandments of Yah and hold to the testimony of Jesus. (Rev. 12:17)
and
Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the
commandments of Yah and their faith in Jesus. (Rev. 14:12)
Do not get me wrong, I do not advocate church or congregational division, I know that we are one body, but we are running out of time to get our body in shape. We can not depend on the church, our pastors or friends to get us into the Kingdom, it is only our relationship with Yah through His son Yeshua the Messiah. If we want to be great in His Kingdom and favor, we must embrace His commandments with love because He gave us grace. We are no longer slaves to Torah but we are Torah observant because we love the Father and are betrothed to His son. Father Yah always gives us what we need, but if we are not obedient, will He bless us with the things we wish for or answer or prayers? Proverbs 28:9 comes to mind;
He that turneth away his ear from
hearing the Law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Christ, came to be an example of Torah and to properly interpret It. He is Torah (John 1:1). We are part of the regathering lost Israel back to Torah, and this is what it is to be saved. That is what the “good news” (gospel) is. Thank you Yeshua for barring my judgment and giving me Grace, but most of all thank you for your Holy Word that led me to Your feet to discover Your Grace………….Amain.
P.S. If you are ever in the Troy, Alabama area, we have started a new Messianic congregation; “Workers of the Word Messianic Outreach Ministries”, at 2o92 Hyy. 87 just south of Troy (call 334 268 3303 for info.).
Translational Bias
Saturday, November 20th, 2010Mr Bernard, I hope this will help you understand where I place my beliefs. The Messiah of Israel Yeshua/Jesus is my light, life, truth, and the Word made flesh who has giving me the unwarranted favor of Salvation and blessed me with His Holy Spirit the Ruach HaKadoshwholeads me into paths of righteousness (following Torah/emulating Him). Truth is sweet but hard to swallow when we have been taught different things all our lives and it can set sour on our stomachs. Be patent as I reveal things I have learned. As a mature Christian I feast on the MEAT of the Word. Seeing the difference between Law written on stone (out side of us) and written on the heart (inside of us) is sometimes hard to understand. We are no longer slaves to the Law, but we are slaves to Grace which gives us the desire to be obedient. Obedience brings us to righteousness which brings blessings ie; “The prayers of a righteous man availeth much”.
Part I
All my Christian life I have heard the Bible referred to as inerrant. The deeper I go into researching scripture in the original language the more misinterpretation I find. The scholars that translated scripture were bias because of their mind set (not thinking like a Jew) and due to the way they were taught. The only part of the scriptures I trust to be accurate is the first five books known as Torah. The early scholars of the 4th century and of today had and have distorted views of Judaism and Torah. People like Marcion, John Chryostom and Martin Luther all had their foundations in Christianity built off of the Roman Catholic foundation rather than a Jewish one. The doctrine of Christianity has suffered because anything Jewish was driven out of the movement. Rome’s enemy was Judah and the Emperors of Rome passed laws against anything Jewish. When Emperor Constantine was in power, he and his advisers in 325AD destroyed whatever remained from the first century Jewish ideas of Messiah and Torah because they hated Jews. New Testament texts and manuscripts over the centuries became less accurate as they were copied from one to another. Those doing the copying and translating could not help their bias. Torah truth and anything Jewish was watered down. The book we call James, which should be Jacob (Jesus’ brother was not named James the book was given this name to honor King James who had the scriptures translated into English), Gentiles knew little or nothing about true Judaism and developed a shameful habit of helping the reader out by modifying entire phrases or a word or two here and there. Any one reading the Scriptures seriously interested in truth, will begin to see things that contradict other scriptures they have read. Paul’s writings are the hardest to understand if you do not go back to the Greek, or not read them in a first-century Jewish mind set. Peter warns us of this in 2 Peter 3:16. Jesus tells us that not one jot or tittle will disappear from the Law until all things are fulfilled (brought to a proper understanding) Matthew 5:17-18. There are many misinterpretations, but here is an example (Gal. 3:10);
For as many as are of (”ek”) the works of the Torah are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the Torah, to perform them.”
This contradicts it self, because we are cursed if we live by Torah and cursed if we do not live by Torah. If we interpret the Greek word “ek” properly, it makes perfect sense. “Ek” translated properly here is “out of and away from” ie;
For as many as are out of and away from the words of the Torah are under a curse; for it is written (Dut 27:26), “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the Torah, to perform them.”
This brings us to the subject of Lawlessness.
Lawlessness
For we have all sinned and fallen……………..What is sin? Sin is transgression of the Law or Lawlessness/Torahlessness (1 John 3:4). There are two words in Hebrew that describe lawlessness, one is aven, Strong’s # 205 and avah, Strong’s # 5753. Aven, means iniquity, wickedness and sorrow while avah, means bending, twisting, distorting and perverting. In the New Testament Greek the word used for lawlessness is anomos, which means “avoid of Mosaic Law” and “transgression of God’s commandments“. No matter how we look at it, sin is lawlessness. There are many scriptures speaking of lawlessness but none speak of legalism, so is the the Law still relevant? Do we pick and choose only the parts of the Law we want to follow, or are we trying to be obedient to Father God because He wishes it? Who has the authority to pick and choose? Yes, we are under grace, but the Law is and always has been for blessings not salvation. What we call the ”New Covenant” in Hebrew (Jer. 31:31) is B’rit Chadashah which actually means “Renewed Covenant”. Romans 11 speaks of this grafting in and that we are not to boast against the “root” for it is there where we get our nourishment (Torah understanding).
Jesus and Paul appear to have two opposing viewpoints of the Law, and appear to contradict one another. How can this be? It must be that scholars without a Hebraic understanding of Halachah,(the way we walk), Jewish idioms, customs and what it is to be a Pharisee in the first century, and they misenturpreted scripture. Even if there was difference of opinion between Paul, and Jesus, who is the Master, and whom do we serve? If God continually changed His mind, we would be serving an unstable Kingdom and in something we could not be sure of. The constitution of God is not a living document, but it brings stable and sure blessing to our lives. Anchor yourselves to the Word made flesh and be obedient and you are promised a blessed life. The greatest temptation and sin HaSatan/Satan places before a believer is; “Did God realy say that”?
I understand that we are not under the Law as slaves (Law written on stone) but that Law after Salvation/Grace is something we want to do to please the Father (written on our hearts). In obedience we gain favor and in disobedience we are chastised. If you are one who thinks Torah is obsolete and is of an old covenant not meant for us you better be right. (Read Proverbs 28:9 and see why your prayers are not answered much). But Jesus in Matthew 5 tells me those who teach the Law will be great in Heavenand the ones who do not will be least in the Kingdom. I prefer to have my Lord say to me “Enter in good and faithful servant”. notice both will be in Heaven, because Law has nothing to do with Grace. Rewards come from obedience to God’s Commandments, Salvation comes from the shed blood of the sacrificial Lamb of God. Christianity is a Jewish religion by Jews for Jews serving a Jewish God who made a covenant with the offspring of Jacob/Israel his chosen people and the only way we become part of this covenant is to be grafted into Israel Jer. 31:31. The Jews broke the covenant and were blinded by God in order for Gentiles to be given the opportunity to accept His Kingdom and the sacrificial Lamb. Gentiles were given the charge to provoke the Jews into Jealousy by following the Laws of the covenant and being blessed by God for doing so. We were also given the task to take the Gospel to the world, but to the Jew first. Have we done our job? I do not think so, then how do we provoke Jews to jealousy with a westernised Messiah who they do not recognize? Jews must find Grace and embrace the Messiah and Gentiles must accept the Word of God/Law to become “One new man”. Law and Grace come together in the “Last Days”.
Part II
If you have ever tried to speak to a Jewish believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob about their Messiah and that He is the same Messiah as the Christians serve, you will get the following response;
1) “A Jewish rabbi would not ever start a pagan relegion”.
2) “If you serve my God’s Messiah, why do you celebrate Ishtar/Easter and Saturnalia/Christmas rather than the Feast of the Lord”? “Do you not know that the northern tribes of Ephraim were sent into pagan captivity for synchronising the worship of God”?
3) “You accept the Passover Lamb, but reject the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread”.
4) “You changed the teaching of the Millennial, the Sabbath, to the first day of the week, when the scriptures in many places and the 4th commandment say to honor the Sabbath and keep it holy”.
The Jews are right, we have done all those things because man changed them. Jesus came to dispute the man made laws added to the Law/Torah by scribes and Pharisees placing fences around them. The Jews distorted the Sabbaththatwas made for us to enjoy and Jesus tried to set them strait. We are both wrong, but it is high time to prepare for His Kingdom and get together as one. HaShem is every one’s God, so let us prepare the way for His return…….”prepare ye the way”.
The Jews do not proselytise their God to the world even though God commanded them to do so. They were to be Priests and teachers to the world. They were disobedient to God so He blinded them to Messiah and sent His Son’s disciples to take Torah/Messiah/Good News to the gentiles. We did just that throughout the last two thousand years, but we drifted off base early on. Now that most of the world knows about the Jewish Messiah, it is time to restore the congregations into one stable unit of belief that was in the first century. Torah is relevant to Christians and if we project Jesus back to the Jews as a Jewish Messiah they will recognise Him. The picture painted by God in the scriptures about this is the story of Joseph who became his brothers savior, but they did not recognise him because of his gentile appearance. He looked like an Egyptian and spoke the language of a pagan but was their brother.
In response to the comments left by John;
My response to #1 on your list “Levitical Law”; Yes, your right, Levitical Law is not meant for Christians or Jews right now, the Temple is not in existence. When Acts 10-11 was written, the Temple was in existence and the L. Law was relevant.
#2 Yes we do need to focus at home more than overseas, and I do that, being a Gideon. But, I also have passion for the last day prophocies where we become “One new Man”, provoke Jews to jelosey and that there will be a faction of believers that keep Torah and have the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, Revelation 12:17 and 14:12.The Messianic movemeant started at the same time the Jews took possession of Jerusalem. On the third day of the “6th day war”, an ossuary jar was found on Masada were the last remnant of Jews held out against the Roman army in 72 AD. In this jar was the remains of a scroll that the last survivors hid to give hope and to increase their faith in the prophecies of the regathering of the children of Israel, and that it would take place one day. What was in the ossuary was Ezekial 37 and 38. Wow!
#3 The Jews that were at the Crucifixion of Christ were His loved-ones, Roman soldier and those who despised Him. Also some of the priesthood and those Pharisees over zealous for the man made traditions added to Torah who fought with Jesus. The common people who welcomed Him as their King four days earlier were on the Temple mount sacrificing their PASCAL Lamb. Passover is a Feast of the Lord Leviticas 23, that starts at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The High Priest sacrifices the last lamb that has been tied to the Alter sense 9:00 o’clock in the morning and says “It is Finished!” The Levitical quire is singing Psalm 118 while the last lamb is sacrificed, read it, because Jesus heard this being sung while he was dying and said “It is finished!”. Anyone coming in the northern gate or Damascus gate would have seen Jesus hanging and if they were some of the people welcoming Him into Jerusalem earlier, they would not have recognised Him because He had been beaten so badly.
#4 Stoning could only be done if the “Beit-Deam” issued a writ of execution. The Beit-Deam, is the High Court of the Temple mount. Also, “Kole-Bat HoMair” (light or heavy), issues that are weighed out in the mind of the High Court, “On the one hand or the other”, to decide which is more important, to obey the laws of the ruling occupation, the government or God’s Law?
#5 I did not say the Scriptures can’t be trusted, I said we have to be careful to interpret them correctly after we have been on the path of Salvation and are eating “Meat”. The person who is not “smart enough” or qualified to read Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic and Latin place their trust in the pastors and teachers to lead them. What the problem is, is that teaching error is being passed down through Church costumes even after they know the errors exist. !st century cultural Israel and the life of the Rabbi Jesus,His Talmidim/Disciples, and Apostles, should be taught in our Churches, not the paganism that has leavened its way in. I am not saying only the “educated” are going to make it, if that were so, I am in deep trouble. Salvation should give us the desire to discover the excitement of the Holy Spirit’s insights into Scripture. Yes, Peter had a lot of problems, but his capacity to learn after a few blows by a 2×4 from Christ was great. Then in Acts 2 the Holy Spirit takes over and he gives a remarkable intelligent speech that gave the learned on the Temple Mount cause to ponder.
Yes, there is one God, but not defined by the “Trinity”, Trinity is three seperate things. God the Creater, God the Redeemer and God the Holy Sprit are defined as the “Triunity” which is a unit of One, 1×1x1=1.
God did not give the Law for Salvation, only for living a proper “set appart” life, Blessed and Holy to bring Himself in “Flesh” to redeem mankind. Atonement was taught through the ”Sacrificial” system that one day He would provide His “Lamb” to lead His creation onto the path of His Kingdom. Yes, we have to accept Him as our personal Sacrifice in order to save us from what our true wages are.
As Jesus/Yeshua, taught, the most important thing for us is “To love God with all our might, and our nabor as ourselves”, the rest of the Scriptures are commentary. If we truly love God, we will do all we can to please Him and be obedient to His Word. If we love our nabor as ourselves, we will not wish to sleep with his wife or steal his lawnmower and then we will have a blessed life. His “Yoke is easy” and yes, His “Gospel” is criystal clear.
Yes you are right, the tithe is not for the church, unless they support the homeless, the widowed and the orphans. Offerings to support the church are OK, but not for paying a pastor an enormous salary or allowing them to fleece the flock by using God’s Word. But, this is another teaching for another time.
John, I appreciate the returned comment, it gives me fuel for my thinking and embellishment for God’s work from a fellow Christian brother. May God truly bless you and yours…..
Whom Will I Serve
Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010Today is election day, November 2010, and I believe it is the most important election most of us have had in our life time. When we sign our name to a ballot endorsing, backing a candidate, we are saying that we believe as he or she does. If they believe in abortion, fore instance, by voting for them we will be held accountable for those acts they endorse. When we vote our pocketbooks and select people who are immoral to office, do you think we will be blessed of God? Will God continue to bless America if we move towards the path of unrighteousness? When we vote we are choosing who we wish to serve. By voting in Godly men and women we say we are serving the Most High God. I am note endorsing any one party, but the Democrats have been taken over by evil people who wish to destroy this country and it’s moral foundation. They wish to abolish the constitution, bring us into socialism and become lawless to seek their freedoms to do as they wish. The Republicans are not far behind, they seem “Hell Bent” on joining the chaos with the European Union and become one world government. How ever you vote, remember we deserve what we get. If we get back to putting God first in our decision making, we will be blessed again as a nation. May God help us all this day in our decisions!
If you are a Christian, do your actions reflect this? Matthew 24:4, needs our attion, it can open your eyes if you read it as Jesus intended.
“Watch out that no one deceives you. (Stay vigil, alert focused on God and His Word/Torah/Jesus and no one will deceive you)
For many will come in my name, saying I am the Messiah (churches of many denominations will profess Jesus is the Christ, and worship in His name…)
and they will deceive many. (teaching “lawlessness”/Torahlessness/a “Westernized Messiah)
We as Christians have abolished our constitution/Torah and expect to be blessed of God. We claim the “Law” was done away with, because we misinterpret Paul’s writings. Peter warned against this in 2 Peter 3:16. Jesus is the Torah/Law/Word, John 1:1. Turn to Proverbs 28:9, this should make us shutter. We must get back to our roots…Romans 11, and substitute Jesus’ name, word, truth, light, commandments and instructions with Torah. Jesus is the Word and was the Word way before this Earth was formed. The Word is eternal and never changes. This is what gives us stability and freedom.
Be of good courage, because Christians are waking up and embracingthe teachings of the Old Testament Torah and are being blessed with answered prayer and given gifts of service in the power of the Holy Spirit of Christ our God. If you claim to be “saved”, your actions should reflect the power of God. Quit following a westernized messiah, and follow the Jewish rabbi Jesus/Yeshua, who observed and spoke the Torah of God. Blessed be His name!
Vote well………………………………….
